UVCeed System
The UVCeed System is the complete kit: the portable UV-C device plus every accessory that extends it to drinkware, small items, and hands-free use. The device works with the UVCeed app to guide distance, coverage, and delivered dose on approved surfaces, as an added step after visible soil is removed.

- UVCeed Device - portable UV-C treatment device with a 254 nm UV-C LED, patent-protected dose control, and automatic exposure safeguards.
- Bottle & Tumbler Adapter - holds the device over container openings from 0.5" to 4.5". For treatment only; not a drinking lid.
- Disinfecting Tote - holds the device over small hard items inside a closed bag.
- Hands-Free Stand - holds the device in position so you can treat a surface without holding it.
- Premium Travel Case - hard-shell case with a mesh sleeve for the device, cable, and accessories.
- Travel Wipes - for removing visible soil before treatment. Follow the wipe label for its own instructions.

Independent test results
In independent laboratory testing on clean, hard, nonporous test surfaces: S. aureus, 99.9% reduction in 15 seconds at 12.7 cm; E. coli, 99.99% in 24 seconds at 12.7 cm; SARS-CoV-2, 99.9% in 32 seconds at 12.7 cm and 99.99% in 64 seconds at 6.5 cm. Results apply only to tested conditions. Accessory configurations have not been separately tested.
Use it correctly
- Remove visible soil before treatment. UVCeed does not replace cleaning.
- Designed for clean, dry, hard, nonporous surfaces within the specified treatment range.
- Effectiveness depends on direct UV-C exposure; shaded or obstructed areas require repositioning.
- Not for direct treatment of food or liquids.
- Never direct UV-C at skin or eyes. Use only as instructed and keep out of reach of unsupervised children.
Good to know
- Cups, bottles, and bags shown in photographs are not included.
- Adapter fit is not guaranteed for every brand or model - measure your container's opening against the 0.5" - 4.5" range.
- The adapter is for treatment use only and is not a replacement drinking lid.

Use It Correctly
UV-C only treats what the light reaches, at the dose it delivers. These are the conditions that determine whether a treatment works.

Clean first
Remove visible soil before treatment. UVCeed is an added step after cleaning, not a replacement for it, and UV-C is far less effective on soiled surfaces.

Stay within range
Hold the device within the treatment range given in the operating instructions. Distance changes the delivered dose, which is why the app measures it rather than running a fixed timer.

Direct exposure only
UV-C treats only surfaces the light reaches directly. Shadowed, obstructed, or angled areas are not treated.

Reposition for shaded areas
If the app reports “Coverage incomplete”, move the device or rotate the item so each face is exposed, and treat again.

Approved materials
Designed for clean, dry, hard, nonporous surfaces. Porous items, fabrics, and liquids are outside the tested scope, and UVCeed is not for direct treatment of food or water.

Never at skin or eyes
Treatment stops automatically when the system detects a person, pet, hand, or face, but you must still never direct UV-C at skin or eyes. Use only as instructed and keep out of reach of unsupervised children.

What surfaces can I use it on?
Clean, hard, nonporous surfaces you can point at. Unlike box-style UV sanitizers, UVCeed works on keyboards, steering wheels, door handles, restaurant tables, airplane tray tables, hotel remotes, food prep surfaces, baby gear, and more. If you can see it, you can treat it - regardless of shape or size.
Does UVCeed replace regular cleaning?
No - it's the essential next step. Cleaning removes dirt but doesn't kill germs. Step 1: Clean normally with water/soap. Step 2: Disinfect with UVCeed (30 seconds). Unlike bleach wipes that require 4 minutes of wet contact, UVCeed disinfects in 30 seconds with no residue or chemicals.
How many uses per battery charge?
Runtime per charge depends on how long each treatment runs and which settings are used, so we are not publishing a single figure until it is confirmed by engineering. Recharge via USB-C in about 2 hours. The rechargeable battery means no ongoing costs - just plug in when needed.
Can I travel with UVCeed on airplanes?
Yes. UVCeed is compact, portable, and TSA-compliant for carry-on luggage. Many travelers use it to disinfect tray tables, armrests, and hotel surfaces. Perfect for staying protected while traveling.
