UVCeed Disinfecting Tote
UVCeed Disinfecting Tote
Requires UVCeed Device — this accessory does not emit UV-C on its own. Add the device or get the complete system.
The Disinfecting Tote holds the UVCeed device over small hard items inside a closed bag, so you can run a treatment cycle away from a work surface. Requires the UVCeed Device, sold separately - the tote does not emit UV-C on its own.
How to use it
- Attach the UVCeed device to the mount inside the top of the tote.
- Remove visible soil from items before loading them.
- Place items in a single layer, spaced apart, with the surfaces you want treated facing the device.
- Zip the tote closed. UV-C operates only while the tote is closed and the cycle is started from the app.
- Run the cycle specified in the operating instructions for the tote.
- Turn or reposition items and run a second cycle to treat their other faces.
Approved items
Clean, hard, nonporous items - keys, hard phone cases, eyeglass frames, remotes, earbud cases.
Limitations
- UV-C treats only surfaces the light reaches directly. Items shade one another, and any face turned away from the device, resting on the tote floor, or hidden beneath another item is not treated.
- Load in a single layer. Stacking or overfilling prevents treatment.
- Porous items and fabrics are outside the tested scope.
- Not for direct treatment of food or liquids.
- Material compatibility has not been tested across all item types. Check manufacturer guidance for anything you are unsure about.
- Do not open the tote during a cycle. Never direct UV-C at skin or eyes.
Specifications
- External dimensions: 20 × 11.5 × 17.3 cm
- Durable, lightweight fabric construction
What's in the Box
Before you buy
Use It Correctly
UV-C only treats what the light reaches, at the dose it delivers. These are the conditions that determine whether a treatment works.
-
Clean first
Remove visible soil before treatment. UVCeed is an added step after cleaning, not a replacement for it, and UV-C is far less effective on soiled surfaces.
-
Stay within range
Hold the device within the treatment range given in the operating instructions. Distance changes the delivered dose, which is why the app measures it rather than running a fixed timer.
-
Direct exposure only
UV-C treats only surfaces the light reaches directly. Shadowed, obstructed, or angled areas are not treated.
-
Reposition for shaded areas
If the app reports “Coverage incomplete”, move the device or rotate the item so each face is exposed, and treat again.
-
Approved materials
Designed for clean, dry, hard, nonporous surfaces. Porous items, fabrics, and liquids are outside the tested scope, and UVCeed is not for direct treatment of food or water.
-
Never at skin or eyes
Treatment stops automatically when the system detects a person, pet, hand, or face, but you must still never direct UV-C at skin or eyes. Use only as instructed and keep out of reach of unsupervised children.
Full operating instructions, including the specified treatment range and material guidance, ship with the device and are available in the support documentation.
